A good performance on Saturday against our old 2nd division rivals, the
Scandinavian Vikings, meant we came away with a 3-0 win. The game was always
going to be a tough, physical encounter and whoever scored the first goal
would be confident of taking all 3 points on offer. The GAS scored the first
goal after some nice interchange of passing in midfield allowing Sebas to
slot home from close range. An inspiring substitution in the second half
changed the game. Sammy was brought on to score the second goal and to win a
penalty, which Benni coolly slotted home sending the keeper the wrong way.
Since the start of 2010 the GAS remain unbeaten and have taken 7 points from
a possible 9 against good opposition. Sammy was awarded as the Man of the Match.
