The coach described Sunday’s game against a very strong Bullshead team “as the best performance so far this season”. We all knew, going into this game, that Bullshead are the only team with any realistic chance of stopping Pattaya FC from winning the Casual’s first division so we had to be at our very best. The game started with both teams trying to create chances and it was the Bullshead who scored first from a quickly taken free kick which caught the GAS napping. This seemed to stir things up a little and from there the GAS began to create several chances. The equalizer eventually came from an Arjen Robben style free kick from Benni which sailed around the Bullshead wall and into the top corner. The Bullshead captain was then sent off for a second bookable offence which meant the GAS could push on and look for the winner. We thought we had this when Michel beat the offside trap and slotted home only for the linesman to flag for offside. The game ended 1-1 and Benni was named as Man of the Match for his defensive midfield display.
