And the road to the title takes another successive turn as GAS Bangkok put on a fine, dominating attacking display.

Saturday 5th November saw GAS take on Tuttciou FC one of Bangkok Casuals often unpredictable though always competitive teams. With both teams getting off to slower start than wanted, this could almost be considered a 6 pointer despite being so early on in the season.

GAS however, picked up from where they left off after their 2-0 victory last weekend. In less than 10 minutes GAS we’re 1-0 through a very smartly created goal. GAS GK K. Do sending a long goal kick up the pitch which the new found #6 and MOM Craig who flicked on over the defence for the Casuals currently, most deadly striker Freeboy to pounce on and loop over the on rushing keeper. 1-0 GAS.

Things we’re not all rosy though and 10 minutes later found themselves level through some good movement from the TUT striker who slid his shot through the legs of the GAS keeper. 1-1.

During the short water break some stern words were had and to be honest were welcomed because our intensity and positivity were evidently diminishing. Minutes following the break saw some good work on the left and Philip found himself 1 on 1 with the keeper and smashed home from 20 yards. Great finish and well deserved for the young winger.

Half time 2-1.

Second half saw pure dominance, in spite of TUT managing to pull 1 back through a dubious penalty following a trip by Carl. GAS moved the ball around well particularly down the left hand side with Craig, Fede and Dom linking up and moving the ball around smartly. The pressure inevitably told with Freeboy adding to his first, followed by Fede and the ever hard working Yan scoring two goals late on. His final goal being a thing of beauty playing a 1-2 with the oppositions keeper and then the framework before deciding enough is enough and slotting home. Solid performances as well from Soeren on the right wing, Matteo as always doing a solid job and Dao ‘the menice’ at CB alongside the captain.
Final score 7-2
Fantastic job done by the team.
