The German All Stars Beer Run was the first-ever event of its kind to be organized in Thailand (at least up to our knowledge). A huge success that is bound to become a new GAS tradition. While the so-called “Bierkastenlauf” ( literally “beer crate running”) has known to most Germans, many other needed explanation to this highly professional event. The rules are easy. A 2.5 kilometer track has to be completed while drinking 16 bottles of beer in teams of two. Whoever reaches the finish line with 16 empty bottles first wins. The proud winners of the first run were Benni and Cheng who celebrated a wire-to-wire win. Despite the ‘sportive’ side of the event, the day ended with a barbecue sponsored by our dear friends of Häfele with Volker and Marivic leading the way.
