This Saturday saw the German All Stars take on Pattaya FC in the group stage of the league Cup.

With the sun at full power and the squad hit with injuries and players not available this could prove to be a testing game.

As the first whistle blew GAS started the game off strong knowing that goal difference would be a crucial factor in progressing to the semis. GAS kept the ball well in the opening 5 minutes probing on both sides of the pitch to find an opening in their back line. It was eventually Martin playing upfront today who already terrorized their defense a few times with some mazing runs, broke the deadlock by dribbling past their players like cutting through cheese with a knife to make it 1-0 for GAS. The 2-0 followed quickly after the first goal when Damian playing at left back found Johann with a nice cross in the box, Johann glanced the header on target only for the goal keeper to save with stretched fingertips. The resulting corner was headed home by the Johann who jumped higher then we have ever seen him jump since he joined GAS. we continued to dominate the first half without giving away any chances.

The score at half time remained 2-0 for us.

Here Dave was able to give us the needed pep talk and instruction to bring home the victory. The second half saw the same gameplay as the first half with GAS dominating possession and creating chances. Martin was proving a real headache for Pattaya FC and capped a fine display with bagging two assist on Murgs and Tommy and another goal for himself to make the score 5-0 for us. We could have probably added a few more goals to the score line but all in all it was a strong performance from every player involved.

Man of the match went to Damian who played his first full match after improving his fitness by posting IG stories at F45 on a daily basis.

Next up in the cup is Red Star
