Results in the Bangkok Casulas League in recent weeks haven’t gone according to plan. Defeats against Pattaya City, Tuttocuoio, Londoner and Siam Celtic were disappointing for several reasons. However, the performance against FC Planet gave the team something to build on for the game against BFC last weekend. The team managed to take all the positives from the game against FC Planet and apply these against BFC to win 2-0. Both goals were scored by Tom, which earned him the MOM award. However, performances by Carl and Josep also should be acknowledged.

This weekend sees GAS take on Londoner in the league. Both teams will be looking to win. The game promises to be very exciting. All spectators are welcome.

IMG_4383Next to the challenges in the Casuals League, the new year has brought a few changes to the German All Stars: With the very positive development of the club over the past years, the Casuals team received a lot of recognition leading to an increase in new players joining the club. Nowadays, there hardly is a training session with less than 20 players present. This lead to the decision to join the Chang League, another amateur expat league in Bangkok. As a result, German All Stars are now represented in 2 different leagues, playing their Chang league games during the week (Tuesdays or Thursdays) and the Casuals League games on the weekends.
